Alexanders Launches New Gardening Service for Estate Agents, Letting Agents and Landlords

A new gardening service to add value and reduce transaction time for properties for sale or rent has been launched by Alexanders Horticultural Services.

Research carried out by the company, which specialises in garden and estate management, shows that a well tended garden can make a substantial difference to the sale or rental price of a property.

It can also speed up the transaction, making the property more attractive and therefore more saleable or rentable more quickly.

Maximise returns

Alex Broomer, owner of Alexanders Horticultural Services, says the new service enables Estate Agents, Letting Agents and Landlords to maximise their returns.

He states: “Our research with agents has made it clear that a property with an unkempt and overgrown garden will require a lower price and take longer to shift than that same property with well maintained grounds.

There is also the problem that an untended garden tends to alert people to the possibility that the property is not occupied – attracting criminal activity, vandalism or even squatters.

Our new service for estate agents, letting agents and landlords enables us to smarten up a property for sale and provide valuable on-going care while it is on the market.

The company is owned by Alex Broomer who holds not only a National Certificate in Horticulture and Landscape Construction, but also the coveted Royal Horticultural Society’s Diploma in Practical Horticulture (only 14 candidates from around the World are selected by the RHS for this two year course at Wisley).

He also holds many other qualifications including Certificates and Licences in Health and Safety, Chainsaw, Abrasive Wheels, Brush Cutting etc, and he has worked in a wide range of environments – from private gardens to large estates such as Aragon Hall and Selsdon Park.
